PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE

Excavation with required depth in all classes of soil keeping the good earth near the site at suitable location for backfilling the sides of foundations, footings etc. including breaking clods, necessary levelling, watering
BRICK MASONRY WORKS
Providing and constructing brick masonry using good quality bricks of class designation 50 in cement mortar for walls including soaking bricks in water, scaffolding, curing, all joint reinforcement and ties to concrete, etc.
STEEL REINFORCE CONCRETE
Providing and pouring reinforced cement concrete of specified with a 28-day compressive strength of 28MPa for all RCC works, including necessary formwork, centering, shuttering, mixing, transporting, laying, vibrating, levelling, curing, removal of shutters, reinforcement Grade 40 for all sizes 12mm diameter and below, and Grade 60 for all sizes 16mm diameter including Site clearing and demolition Excavation Backfilling with hard course sub-base under foundation.
BACKFILLING
under the proposed foundation using hard course sub-base backfill to the elevation of the bottom of the found -ation and under the floor slab and the walkways with clean granular soil from the excavation and Supplying and filling with required backfilling under foundation, floors, cable trenches etc. at all levels, complete and stacking the material as per standard specifications for taking pre measurement, spreading in layers wherever required, consolidation, rolled and compacted in layers not exceeding 20 cm using proper compaction methods with subbase to bring it to 95% minimum density in accordance to the designed plans & specifications.
ELECTRICAL WORKS
A junction box must be provided adjacent to each light pole installation, and at each end of all street crossings. ALL junction box lids shall be grounded if metallic in nature. • Note that cast iron lids for sidewalk areas must be drilled to accommodate grounding connector. • This note is for older streetlight handhole installations where metallic handhole lids may have been installed.
